Bachelors of Arts in Dance, Spring 2024

Heather is a dance major who wants to work in the performing arts and also teach children to dance. She is her ZTA chapter’s Vice President of Recruitment and Membership and has led or served on several committees, including judicial, sisterhood and activities. In the CSULB Dance Department, she plans workshops and events, promotes inclusion, performs student wellness checks, and provides audio descriptions of performances for visually impaired audiences.

Health Science, Community Health Education Concentration with a minor in Environental Science and Policy, Fall 2023

Lauren is majoring in health science and aiming at a graduate degree at UCLA, followed by a career in public and environmental health. She is the Alpha Phi VP of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and has used her passion for social justice to help create a more inclusive and equitable environment for both her sisters and the larger university community. She interned at the Alliance for Children with Asthma and is now volunteering at The LGBTQ Center Long Beach.

Operations & Supply Chain Management (OSCM) Concentration with a minor in Information, Science, technology & the Arts (ISTA), Spring 2023

A 2021 GLBAP scholarship winner, Kelly is graduating in May with a degree in operations and supply chain management and will then begin working with Northrup Grumman, where she is now an intern. She completed a semester of study in Barcelona and hopes to have international assignments in the future. She served on several sorority committees, including feedback and food, during her time in Tucson and is active with Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Human Development, Fall 2024

A 4.0 student, Gabby is a human development major, planning to earn a graduate degree in public administration and work in nonprofits. She joined Delta Zeta at UNC Charlotte, then moved here to CSULB -- and has been active on both campuses and supporting charities such as the American Society for Deaf Children and Starkey Hearing Foundation. She is currently coordinating Delta Zeta’s Philanthropy Committee and serves as Campus Relations Chair.

Marine Biology Concentration with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy, Fall 2023

Lizzy, a 2021 GLBAP winner, is receiving our philanthropy award for her volunteer work and leadership of ZTA’s community service projects. A marine biology major, she will intern at the Marine Mammal Animal Care Center after graduation and wants to research the impact of climate change on marine organisms. She is Zeta chapter president, works in the Beach Pride Events Department, and volunteers at the campus Marine Lab and Aquarium of the Pacific.


Master’s in School Psychology

Lexie is the first recipient of our new alumna scholarship and a 2020 GLBAP collegiate award winner. She is currently working on a graduate degree in school psychology and is an advisor for Delta Gamma’s CSULB chapter, providing guidance with philanthropic projects. She is active on campus and in the community, helping children with autism and other special needs, raising funds for nonprofits, and educating the public about mental health issues.
