Greater Long Beach Alumnae Panhellenic
Supporting education and inter-sorority friendship.
Founded in 1923, Greater Long Beach Alumnae Panhellenic is a community based organization affiliated with National Panhellenic Conference. Our membership is composed of representative alumnae from the 26 NPC-member sororities.
Our primary focus is to recognize sorority collegians for their outstanding academics, leadership and service. Since the 1950s, GLBAP has presented more than $110,000 in scholarships to young women from the Long Beach area. We also promote sisterhood, publicize the accomplishments of sororities and their members, foster collaboration among sororities, partner with local institutions in addressing problems facing students, and support community service projects.
